Shipping and Quality Control Specialist

Location: Port Chester, New York

Job Type: Part-Time and flexible hours

 

Job Overview: As a Shipping and Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for the final inspection of all personalized products before they are shipped. You will ensure that each item meets our high-quality standards and is packaged securely for delivery. This role requires attention to detail, a keen eye for design consistency, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control:

   • Inspect personalized products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards

   • Check for any defects, errors in personalization, or inconsistencies in color, size, or materials

2. Order Fulfillment:

   • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment

   • Ensure that all items in an order are accounted for and match the customer’s specifications

   • Apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation for each package

3. Packaging:

   • Package products securely to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate materials and techniques

   • Ensure that packaging is aesthetically pleasing and reflects our brand’s quality standards

4. Inventory Management:

   • Assist in managing inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging materials

   • Report any inventory shortages or issues to the team

 

Qualifications:

• Junior in High School or older (must have ability to commute in person)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or defects

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to bring a laptop 

• Ability to lift and carry packages
